Joel Rayon Paniagua
We're lucky to belong to a church with lots of community outreach programs - from supporting social justice issues to helping disadvantaged teens learn computer skills and express themselves through pottery. One of the activities we like to do often is supporting our "Lil' Dab" food bank collection.
We shop for nonperishable and commonly useful food - like pasta and sauce, pancake mix and syrup, and canned meats like tuna - then drop them off on Sunday morning. Volunteers take them to a bigger food pantry for families in need.
It's a small thing, but small things can add up!
This was for Joel Rayon Paniagua, described as a loyal friend who always found ways to help his friends feel better.
