Hi!

Welcome to the 49 for 49 blog. Check out the kindness projects we've done to honor the Pulse shooting victims.

Graduating 5th Graders, Aglow with Kindness!

Graduating 5th Graders, Aglow with Kindness!

This month, we marked Brock's graduation from elementary school. It's hard to believe our little guy is moving on! We celebrated as a class with a fabulous glow party complete with fun food, games, a slime station, a DJ and enough black lights to put Spencer's to shame! But we wanted to make sure there was an element of kindness, too. So we gave kids the chance to make a handmade dog toy from recycled t-shirts!

These are SO easy to make and can brighten the day of a dog awaiting that forever family! Brock and his classmates made dozens of toys, which we plan to donate to the Pet Alliance of Central Florida.

As B and his friends reach the middle school years, there's so much uncertainty and fear of the unknown. With the awkwardness of growing into your adult self, friendships can fade and it can be tough to put kindness first. But with regular projects like this one, we hope to keep this light in our lives.
